Backup issue with internal Colorado 5gb
Hello,
I'm still having a HP Colorado 5GB internal tape drive in my Windows XP Pro PC. This PC is a client in a small home network. I use the Windows Backup (comes with XP Pro) utility for my backups. Whenever I try to restore files from the tape to an alternate or the original location map on another computer. e.g. the main data PC (Windows XP Home) in the network I'll always get an "Access Denied" error. Making backups on the travan tape from an external folder on that same data PC isn't a problem. Also, restoring files from the tape to an alternate location on the same PC as the drive is in, works fine. For some reason the network access "way-in" seems to be denied to the tapedrive. Who can advise me on this?
