C1537A Tape Drive Issue

We are currently experiencing issues with this drive type where the backup will fail 2 or 3 days in a row and then it will work once or twice and then start failing again.... my "sys admin" says that the SCSI settings are wrong, but I would think it would never work if this were the case??? We use BackupExec and the error logs really don't show much information about what is going on.

Try HP LTT diagnostic utility... http://h18006.www1.hp.com/products/storageworks/ltt/index.html ... it will show much more. Generate support ticket for the drive and take a look at it
