C1554C DDS-3

I have this new tape drive (one month old) and have had errors the past week regarding cleaning. I've cleaned with a brand new cleaning tape two days in a row with the same message every morning. Because the tape drive is new, I've also been using new tapes. Any advice?

Yes, call HP for someone to come in and adjust the heads or replace the drive!

The drive may be faulty. Try replacing the drive or repair it. I would call the hardware support and do this task, or as it's a new drive, get it replaced.
