Does anyone know how to calibrate the heads?

Recalibration of the head write current ONLY applies to the DDS3 (Dat24) product, not the other DDS products (such as the 6000).

If you are having write problems, try running a new cleaning tape 5 times. If that doesn't clear it up, then run HP Library & Tape Tools:
