Can I boot from DLT 40/80 GB tape drive?
Hi all,
I am trying to test DR with NAS2000s server, Veritas backup exec 9.1, and a DLT40/80 tape drive.
I was wondering if someone can give me directions on how to boot from the tape drive to start recovery
Thanks,
Peter

Peter
The DLT 40/80 standard (DLT8000) does support DR but only under NT4. But, I can not verify that the NAS2000 is supported for disaster recovery. One item to note, is if you are attached to the 5i controller, it definatley does not support DR or OBDR.
You can also refer to:

for all the compatability charts.
