Can't free space in LTO tape in Data Protector
After a backup operation which filled a LTO tape, we changed the data protection of some objects to "none" in order to reuse the tape, but when we go to "Devices & Media" in DP Manager to check the tape usage, it still shows 100% used.
If we try to make a new backup operation on that tape, a "mount request" message is issued.
Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance.

hi sis;
if a media is occupied %100 percent and than some objects recyled or expired . you cannot writ to that free space, in order to use media again media should be free %100.
