Capacity less than 80GB
We have a TL891DLX attached to a wide scsi card on a Proliant 5500.
We are using Legato Networker to do backups, and are consistently only packing 60GB onto each DLT IV tape. The specs say we should achieve at least 80GB.
On another system using a TL891 (Not DLX), we see over 110GB regularly. We are using hardware compression on both systems.
What can we do to increase capacity on the TL891DLX?
Thanks
david

Re: Capacity less than 80GB
look at increasing or decreasing the block size. .You may have to do testing. The rest, make sure you are comparing the same data between the 2 lib. 80 gig is compressed!
