Cassette Stuck!
Hello, if anybody's out there.
I just got an external 20-40 GB DAT Autoloader, completely set it up, no problems there. But about 6 minutes into it's initial backup, I got an error stating that the cassette is stuck.
The actual error is "Cassette Stuck Reset Req".
I tried ejecting it, but it wouldn't come out, so since there is no reset button, I turned it off then on again. But I still cannot get the magazine to eject.
Is there a way to remove the magazine short of disassembling the whole machine?
Any help would be appreciated,
Thanks.

Re: Cassette Stuck!
In this case, you will probably need help working with this issue... Phone support may be a better solution (1-800-386-2172 or an international office if overseas). Odds are, the drive will have to be opened up to remove the tape.
One thing to watch out for in the future is - labels. If you have a label on the tape cartridge, there is a chance it's too thick and may drag against the magazine or drive mechanism. This can cause just the issue you have here...
