Cleaning the drives

Hi,

We are using the tape library MSL 6000.

We have LTO3 Ultrium universal cleaning tape. May i know how can i clean my drive?

Also, how frequently we should clean the drives?

To clean the drive just load the cleaning tape on it. The drive will recognize that it's a cleaning tape and use it.

On Ultrium drives clean them only when they request it.

Hi,

I have loaded the cleaning tape on the library via the mail slot; moved it to the drive and i kept it for 15min after that i have ejected the tape.

May i know how long it runs?
