Re: Colorado 20GB and XP

First of all is it an internal or external drive? If it's an internal drive, download the windows 2000 drivers from HP.com and use a different software that will work on XP. (TapeWare, or Backup my pc) The software that came with the drive (CBII) does not work in XP!

If it's an external drive you have a whole new set of problems. External Travan drives are not supported on XP. There is a suggested work-around at

It may work, but it is not officially supported by HP.

I used the article suggested here. It worked when I did one file backup and restore bust when I tried to do 8 Gbytes it failed and crashed the Machine.
Do you know of some other software I could obtain for the colorado please?
