Compaq DLT2000 (10/20) Firmware

We have a Compaq DLT2000 (10/20) currently with V6 firmware . I am unable to find any ROMPaq, firmware or microcode details to upgrade this old drive.

The Compaq part is 199746-001

Can anyone help please.

Thanks Luk but this softpaq only applies to the 20/40 and 35/70 DLTs and not the 10/20Gb (unless I am mistaken).

Is there a list of Tape ROMPaq's anywhere?

Hi Barry,

It looks like V60 is the latest version for a DLT2000.

I couldn't find it on HP, but here's a link on the manufacturer's site:

Thanks for your reply.
We have the generic firmware (Quantum) but what I was really after was the latest Compaq firmware which I assume will be better than V6. This will ensure that it will have the correct & latest firmware for the Compaq drive.
