Compression/Capacity
I have a new TL891 DLT library connected to a Proliant 1600 server with Arcserve 6.5 installed. I'm running tests on the system, and am unable to get more than 30GB on a tape. In my tests, I'm selecting roughly 50GB of data, but it always goes to 2 tapes. How can I get the full capacity (or at least close) out of my tapes?

Re: Compression/Capacity
I assume you're using DDT IV tapes. I just came out of a meeting with some storagetek folks. We asked something similar to them about our backups. They said it is a performance problem between getting the data from disk and placing it on to tape.
