Configuring an MSL6000 series silo on both HPUX and Windows
I have just purchased an MSL6060 and a MSL6030 from HP and they're being installed later this week. I've checked all the documentation I can find on HP's storage site relating to the MSL6000 series and can't find anything about how to actually install/configure them on the servers.
We will have different setups for the 2 silos, the 6060 is going onto one of our fibre SANs, the 6030 is being plugged directly into a windows server via SCSI.
Can someone please help me identify the actual steps required once the silo is powered on and plugged in to create the device drivers for the drives and robotics? I can't find it documented anywhere!!!
We will be integrating the 2 silos into our existing DP5.1 setup after the drivers are configured.
Thanks VERY much for your time.
