Connect DLT892 Tape Libraries to Proliant 6500
I have been trying to connect two DLT892 Tape Libraries to a Proliant 6500 via fibre optic channel. I see the connectivity via SCSI Adapter via the control panel of the Proliant 6500 but I only see via tape devices of the control panel, one tape library and two tape drives. Should I be able to see two tape libraries and four tape drives (2 for each library)? Also, is it possible to execute Veritas BackUp Exec (version 8.0) using two different DLT Libraries?

Re: Connect DLT892 Tape Libraries to Proliant 6500
If you are using nt4 you will only see the tape drives not the library robotics. You should see all 4 drives. Are you using mdr or fctc 2.
