DDS2 tape used at HP SureStore DAT 40 Drive

I want to ask whether DDS2 tape can be use at HP SureStore DAT 40 Drive for do make_tape_recovery.

Hi,

it seems so - I've checked it for one DAT 40:
DDS-4 DAT40x6i Drive - (C5715A).
And there you can use DDS-2:

If you know your drive exactly you can search for it yourself:

Hi again,

sorry, first link doesn't seem to work, but with the second link you'll get a list of HP SureStore drives.
Choose one and search for DDS.
All use DDS-3 and -4 and so they also can use DDS-2. For some (older?) SureStore drives (x6) DDS-2 is a orderable part.
