DLT 7000

Hi!
Can somebody give me the information if the HP DLT 7000 with the number c6374 Model: th6af-tx is a High Voltage Differential Model?!? Theres a Differential Symbol on the top of the drive, but is doesn't work with Low Differential!

Re: DLT 7000

Should be HVD -
Check here - at the bottom of the page are the SCSI symbols (which I can never remember).

A little knowledge is dangerous - none is absolutely terrifying!!!

Rico,
high-voltage-differential is not compatible with low-voltage-differential. You need to use HVD/FWD adapter, for example, AHA-2944UW

Re: DLT 7000

Ok, now I have a HVD controller (Symbios), but I always get a "SCSI-Port-failure" in ARCServe! Isn't it possible to terminate the Bus at the Tape-Drive? Do I have to use a seperated terminator after the Drive?

Re: DLT 7000

Yes, and this terminator also should be HVD-type!
