DLT Library A4846A: INOP-FSC #30B7 MECH=REACH

Hi,

I am facing problem with DLT library. During initialization it gives following error on Front Panel:

" INOP-FSC #30B7 MECH=REACH "

WIth this error, Service Required LED keeps glowing red and Processor LED keeps blinking
Please tell me about this error messages and what further action is required. Problem is hard On and Library is currently down due to this problem.

Girish,
looks like something (possibly tape) stuck, jammed or loose somewhere. Try examining everything visually inside (be careful! Do not get inside when library is powered on... it's very mighty and can do a harm). Track robot's init steps and think which operation is not completed and what can be the cause. Remove tapes from inside the library (mark where they were).
If you would not find anything by yourself or anything 'interesting' to post here then the best is to have HP CE to look at it
