DLT Library A4853A (STK 9730) with three DLT4000 corrupting cartridges
I have a DLT library of StorageTek 9730 - Firm.Rev 2003(30 cells + 3 Quantum DLT drives Firmware V146/OMX105). Problem: after full backup in the WeekEnd (intermittently) all the LEDs of the 3 drives are found in a blinking state (cartridges loaded) without any error message on the ctrl panel. Unmount manually is OK but sometimes we loose one cartridge which found cutoff internally in some one of the drives. Firmware update to drives + STK and all cartridges have been replaced by new ones but we have the same problem - Terminator + SCSI cables are replaced also; notice that, this STK is controlled by an HP 750 / HP-UX 10.20 - Thanks to everyone would help.
It is hard to find a solution for an intermittent problem
