DLT VS80 install failed in NT4 with error

Hi,

I got error after installing DLT VS 80 tape drive on NT4.0 server and rebooted. A service aleways failed to start up.

Error: "bnchtape servcie failed to start"

Please help!

Hi,

1. Be aware that VS80 drive has a different driver personalities (HP,QUANTUM,TANDBERG ..)

2. Make it sure that your using a benchtape driver for NT4 and not from W2k,XP,W2003 and NT4 alpha.

How do I download the "benchtape" driver? I downloaded driver from HP site and isntalled it, but got this error.
