DLT1 in VS80 autoloader?

Hi,
currently I'm using DLTIV tapes in the VS80 autoloader (C9264CB).
Can I use also DLT1 tapes?
Device shows "invalid tape", and backup doesn't work.

The answer seems to be no. The media type is DLT Type IV
