DLT1 vs DLT drives

What is the difference between a DLT1 and all other DLT drives? I am trying to figure out what the block size should be set at for Veritas Backup and it is different dependong on the drive... I use a HP Surestore 818. Thanks!

Hello, in Veritas Netbackup you can set the NUMBER_DATA_BUFFERS and the SIZE_DATA_BUFFERS values, the values depend of the speed of your machine. You can check this file http://ftp.support.veritas.com/pub/support/products/NetBackup_DataCenter/240733.pdf to help you out.
