DLT700 4/48 scsi connection
i want to connect DLT7000 4/48 library (A4855A) to rp8400 server. i am not sure how to do scsi cabling for internal drives.
please help

Adjust them (single ended/FWD) as needed.
You can daisy chain up to 2 drives together, so you need at least 2 HBA's in your server.
All modes must be the same (e.g. FWD-SCSI).
Include the controller in one of the busses.

Correction, daisy chain was for DLT4000 drives, for DLT7000 drives (quite old too), you need a HBA for each drive, because they consum 2/3 of the bandwidth.

Check the setting for bus 0 from the front panel, it must be set to differential.
Check if the DIP switches for termination power and autotermination are ON for the drives. Of course you need to use differential SCSI HBAs (aka HVD).
