I have a spare DLT8000 Product number C6378A
and want to hook it up to an IBM RS6000 7013 UX server. Will this work? Is it compatible?
Its worth a shot...

Solution> 40/80GB Fast Wide Differential DLT8000 Desktop Digital Linear Tape (DLT) Drive
As long as you have a F/W High Voltage (HVDS) interface card, 68-pin cable, HVDS terminator, and you configure the correct DLT driver, you should be all set.
Note: The HP drives respond with Quanum's inquiry string (QUANTUM DLT8000), which most drivers should recognize.
