DP 5.5 - Mount Request
after migrating to DP 5.5, when we receive a two mount requests in the same backup, we got this messagge after confirming one of them:
From: BSM@backup."XXX_backup" Time: 12/05/2007 09:37:48 p.m.
[60:1025] The device is still in use by a media management operation.
is any solution for this to above this problem in the mount request.
Thanks for your help,

Re: DP 5.5 - Mount Request
When we first installed Data Protector 5.5, it had a lot of bugs.
Ensure that you have all patches applied, or you will have a lot of problems.
Here is the link for the patch list by os type:

Por que hacerlo dificil si es posible hacerlo facil? - Why do it the hard way, when you can do it the easy way?

Re: DP 5.5 - Mount Request
Hi,
This mounting request comes...When the driver is busy, the tape is full or the barcode scanning problem happened that times the mounting request comes.
So please scan the barcode scan if you are using barcode in the tape.
Add some tape to the pool.Abort the current session and start again.
Thanks & Regards
A. Aashique
