DP5.5 backup of Win 2003 IA64 physical disk fails

We are trying to make backup of entire physical disk on a 64-bit Windows 2003 server using Data Protector 5.5. It is local disk with several partitions and one of them is system. Backup if configured for section: \\.\PHYSICALDRIVE0 . When we start backup session the following error is generated:

The folowing is from debug.log on DP server:

The same thing happens when we take out the disk from the server and put it in another server which is without Smart Array and try to backup it from there.

Re: DP5.5 backup of Win 2003 IA64 physical disk fails

Hi Dejan.
Did you try posting this in the DP forum? In any case, I think there is a known defect in DP regarding the RBDA. Perhaps you need to log a call with HP.
Hope this helps.
