DP5.5 backup of Win 2003 IA64 physical disk fails
We are trying to make backup of entire physical disk on a 64-bit Windows 2003 server using Data Protector 5.5. It is local disk with several partitions and one of them is system. Backup if configured for section: \\.\PHYSICALDRIVE0 . When we start backup session the following error is generated:

Re: DP5.5 backup of Win 2003 IA64 physical disk fails
Hi Dejan.
Did you try posting this in the DP forum? In any case, I think there is a known defect in DP regarding the RBDA. Perhaps you need to log a call with HP.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Shishir
