Data Protecto Express USB Hard Drive Bare Metal Restore

Can anyone confirm that the DR restore with DPX will not work on a USB External Drive? The Tapeware KB says this cannot be done, but HP supports USB tape drives with DPX. I really want to create the ISO DR image, boot to it and recover the server from and external USB hard disk virtual library. This doesnt seem to work like a bare metal DR restore from a SCSI tape drive.

Never mind - its in the DPX User Guide

"You cannot perform disaster recovery from a virtual library."
