Re: Data Protector Express - Need Error Code Diagnostic
Code: 4 (0x4)
Message: invalid handle
This error occurred during failure modes when a handle value is incorrectly used.
What is it all about? What the job has completed but it has such message?

Re: Data Protector Express - Need Error Code Diagnostic
Usually this error is related to an inconsistency in the catalog. Data Protector Express incorporates a "self repairing" database, however it may occasionally be required to manually initiate a database repair operation. This example is for Microsoft Windows. The process would be the similar for Linux or NetWare.
THIS PROCEDURE IS RUN ON THE BACKUP SERVER.
Make sure no Data Protector Express jobs are running before you begin.
