Data error (cyclic redundancy check)
Hi there,
Recently bought a TL891 autoloader which is connected to an adapted 294x and use backup exes 8 on a winnt 4.0 sp6a. Made 2 drive pools and updated the firm ware. somehow the first media pool complains with a data error "cyclic redundancy check". The second pool does work. Halved scsi speed on the adapted and that would help for about a week. After that the problem reappeared again on the first drive pool with various tapes. Anyone have any idea where i would begin to troubleshoot this?
Help would be much appreciated
