Device Manager reports wrong Medium Changer. Is this a problem?

I'm running Windows 2000 SP4 Server on a Compaq Proliant DL 380. with a LSI ULTRA 320 SCSI adapter.
I installed an HP StorageWorks 1/8 autoloader SDLT 320 as the only device on that SCSI card.
If I look at Device Manager it reports under Medium Changer that I have an HP LTO Tape Autoloader.
Incidentally, Device Manager correctly reports that the Tape Drive as a Compaq Super DLTtape SDLT 320 drive.
LTandT reports the devices correctly, HP data protector sees them correctly and I believe the SCSI Bios also sees the changer correctly. Should I stop worrying about Device Manager?

This is likely just the driver you have loaded on the server. I would worry because the backups are going to be trying to write according to a media that does not exist.

Lets get the correct driver installed:

Thanks for the links, but they don't fix the issue. The tape drive contained in the Autoloader already shows up correctly in device manager as SDLT. It's the autochanger itself that is showing up incorrectly. I'm assuming that it shouldn't report itself under Medium Changer as an HP LTO Tape Autoloader. In actuality it is a HP StorageWorks 1/8 autoloader SDLT 320. If I follow the links on hp's website to download the correct driver for this device I get a cab file and it doesn't contain an executable so I'm stuck. I don't know what to do with the cab file or the .cat file it contains. Jon,
If you are using data protector as you say you are, you should have DISABLED the devices in device manager anyhow. Data protector media agent actually controls the devices. No need to worry about windows drivers or what device manager says.

Jon,

Disable the medium changer (required) and tape drive (you can use the Windows device but I disable it always) in the Windows device manager. See that the Windows Removable Storage service is disabled as well.

You must redefine now the autoloader in Data Protector (hardware paths will change from tapex:y:z to scsix:y:z).
