Dip Switch Settings for SureStore DAT24-external (C5653A)
I have an Adaptec 2940U SCSI card in my PC connecting to the SureStore DAT24e tape drive.
So, I downloaded the lastest HP Storageworks Tape Tools and Library and ran the full diag test. The test passed, but in the output it said the DIP switch settings might not be correct and to check my documentation.
Well, the install manual is long since lost, and I have not been able to find anything online. When I flip the drive over, there is a dip switch array, with all of the switches set towards the front of the drive. But, no way to know if that is correct.
Might anybody have a link the manual for this, or have any data on the dip switch settings?
Thanks!

But that link took me to a forum in German, and I've not had a good deal of success finding the manual fo rhte DDS drive there. Do you have a specific url for that?

install L&TT version 3.5 or 3.6 (i don't know) there you can see that everything is ok when 1-2 / 4-8 are on and 3 off :)
