ESL 9000 SNMP MIB

Hello,

I'm searching since two days on that damn HP website the SNMP MIB for an ESL 9000 StorageWorks Enterprise library ( model ESL9595). Despite that I can't found those anywhere, I hope that someone has already found them somewhere?

Do you have an ESL with the "Interface Manager" option?

No, we didn't, we forgot to bought it.

Without the Interface Manager, there is no ethernet interface to the ESL. The SCSI/fibre connection to the library does provide tapealert as a means of event monitoring.

Good question on the NSRs. My guess is that there is no SNMP MIB, but I'll have to check.

HP does not support a MIB with the NSR routers (which is to say we don't specify one and test it). The underlying router firmware may in fact have a MIB that you can access (we don't specifically disable any MIB support), so you could look to see if the OEM (Crossroads) supplies one in their products.
