ESL712e Drives 1-7 using Veritas Netback show Access=0
Hi I've got a HP ESL712e that is having intermittant problems backing up to drives 1-7 using Veritas Netbackup the error I get is:
Ran robtest utility and drives 1-7 show â access = 0â which stops them from being used. If you try to mount a tape you get â invalid element addressâ error:
I've attached the error & a screen shot also.
Does any one know what access=0 & element address means ?

Re: ESL712e Drives 1-7 using Veritas Netback show Access=0
Element address is the number refered to the drive, it is some kind of address,
access = 0 looks like the drive where not accessible, as you have a huge number of drives put in this condition, check what they have as common path, probably a switch or a fc cable is having problem.
