Why in EVA 3K and 5K both the cache batteries needs to be replaced

Hi,
a) If one of the batteries is replaced while the other failed battery is still in the enclosure, the failure
may be propagated to the newly installed battery.
b) removing both batteries resets the
battery system status information on the controller.

c- when offline replacement took place. that means when you replace the batteries or installing new batteries while controllers powered off.

Hi,
Can you expand on your question ?
You would only need to replace both batteries if they have both failed.
Typically, the batteries fail if the EVA isn't cleanly shut down.
