Errors, any solution on MSL6000?
Any insight into this is helpful.

From Windows you can run HP Library and Tape Tools to perform a diagnostic on the drives.
Select one drive, load a tape on it and run Read/Write test and Drive Assessment Test.

If no free derives available - backup session will wait some time (defined in configuration file) and abort with error "Timeout waiting for the devices to get free"
The other reason is - stale device locks. To check it run this:
# omnidbutil -show_locked_devs
To free locked devices/tapes:
# omnidbutil -free_locked_devs [ devname | mediumId | cartName phyLocation ]
But you must do this only if you are sure that no backups run!
