Event ID 15
We are using Compaq TSL-10000 (20/40GB DAT 8 AL5.02) with latest drivers (Version 1.00 A - 13 Mar 2000)) that I downloaded and installed today. SCSI Adapter cpq32fs2 (ID 6), to which this loader is connected, has firmware 5.02. Control panel applets of SCSI and Tape devices indicate that all devices are functioning properly. However, we keep getting EventID: 15 in Event Viewer -

The device, \Device\ScsiPort1, is not ready for access yet.
Our backups using BackupExec 8.5 often fail and Veritas has concluded that it is a hardware isssue. Please help.

Re: Event ID 15
Are you running NT 4.0 or W2K? If running Windows 2000, upgrade to Support Paq version 5.08A that address the cpq32fs2.sys and running NT 4.0 apply sp 14439.exe ver 2.22A. Make sure all firmware is at its latetst and greatest.
