Exabyte 230D
Somehow today my Exabyte 230D tape library LCD
showed "Cannot detect cal block" referring to
not detecting the calibration block which is
always there in the right slot. I have reset and rebooted the library. But no luck. Anyone
have any clues?

Re: Exabyte 230D
Hopefully somebody will be able to offer a suggestion for you but the experts staffing this forum are only familiar with the various HP tape libraries and won't be able to offer much help with an Exabyte.

Re: Exabyte 230D
Thanks Malvin. Unfortunately, they did not
list ths error. But luckily, I now figured
out the problem. I have to change the control mode from LCD to SCSI. Then it works.
