External DLT1, caution LED always ON !

On one of my servers, I have a Surestore DLT1, external.
Everything works fine, except that the orange LED under Caution, on the front panel, is always on; and it wasn't, until few days ago.
I've cleaned the drive, with a brand new tape, but still...ON.
Normally, after cleaning the heads, the LED should light off.
Please, could anyone help me with that issue?

It just means you need to call in the vendor's technicians to see what is wrong with the drive.

That means you have a hardware error. If you have cleaning requested, the LED would be flashing, not ON.

Contact your service representative to have your drive replaced.
