Firmware version

Dear all,
Can you confirm if you need to upgrade\downgrade the firmware on the TL891 and TL890 when you install an additional Drive head. It is just that I cannot seem to get both drive heads to work in Arcserve. Even though both appear when scanning in the boot-up process when scanning for SCSI devices and also appears in Arcserve.
