Follow up on : Questions about the HP 88780 B (or A)

Hi,
First of all I'd like to thank Rotherby for all his help in this matter.

My problem was a bad interface PCA on the drive. I was able to track down another drive and it was recognized immediately by the adaptec 2944uw card. In win2k on the hardware components the tape drive is recognized but listed as a problem. However the Novaexchange 3 demo is still able to access/control the drive . Now I have to figure out what format is on these tapes.
