Full steps for update NSR-M2402 firmware
Two way can update their firmware, one is by LTT, you can find the detail from the document I released: Update firmware for Ultrium 460 drive of ESL9322 in our forum.
Another way is by ftp, detail list below:
Download the firmware, and put it into one directory, example: g:\temp\firmware\5.6.06_fw_winston_x.dlx.
Get the configuration and trace records and save it follow these steps:
ftp 1.1.1.1 (default address of M2402)
user: root (default value of M2402)
password: password (default value of M2402)
bin
get m2402.cfg
get curtrace.txt
get purtrace.txt
put 5.6.06_fw_winston_x.dlx
bye
After transfer complete, the router M2402 will restart by itself, example:
Downloading DLX image via FTP or FC InBand interface.
System will reboot when download is complete.
Download of firmware image 5.6.06 version 5.6 to flash is complete.
