HP 8000 product C7200-8000 password reset

Does anybody know how to reset the admin and local device passwords on the HP 8000. We have aquired the unit from an out of business partner and do not have the passwords.

You can call HP:
http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/en/contact_us.html

And tell them you lost your password. They will ask for some info, and can generate a recovery password for you.

Call them at the beginning of the hour so that you will have enough time to reset the password - as you will be given a temporary password that you need to change asap.

The default shipped with the library is no administrator password, so if it is asking for one, then someone had set it.
