HP C1533A Firmware Upgrade

Hi,

I have a problem upgrading my tape firmware to 9608 using LTT. LTT says the new firmware has wrong prefix. My current firmware version is NS00.

I'm not familiar with the NS00 firmware, but it doesn't sound like the regular HP trade ready version of the product.

Is this an OEM version of DDS drive?

Hi Jan,

Thanks for your response. I'm not actually sure if this is an OEM drive. This is an external drive with HP SureStore written in front of the drive. From the bottom sticker, the model is C1561A and part # C1561-60013. And I'm not sure if this is the orginal specs because these specs were written on a sticker pasted on the orginial HP sticker.
