HP C1536 Tape Drive

Hello,
I have an older C1536 drive and I'm moving it to a new machine.
On the rear side of the drive there jumpers and I don't remmebr what they stand for. The jumpers are as follows:
0 1 2 & NC.
I assume that they set SCSI ID
Does anyone know how do you set them?

Thanks,
Alex

Re: HP C1536 Tape Drive

Hello,

Since you have 3 slots + NC, you can have a SCSI ID from 1 to 7. The one near NC is worth 4, the next 1 is worth 2, and the last one is worth 1. You set the jumper to the respective slots to add up your SCSI ID.
