HP Colorado 14GB/ Windows ME

Does HP Colorado 14GB external tape drive for PC's work on Windows ME? I get a message saying the setup is disk is not recognized and instructing me to run it in DOS. I don't know how to do that. Is there a download I can do to get this to run on my Windows ME computer?
