HP Colorado Backup II loses setup. Why?

I'm running CB II v8.0 with a T3000 to backup a few machines in our office (just files, not trying to registry or anything). It is a scheduled backup -- when a computer is down overnight, CBII says You have not selected any files to backup. And here's the annoying part -- it permanantly loses the backup setup for that machine.

I can set it up again but it worries me that I'm missing important stuff!!!

Is there any way to fix this?
