For performance problems you need to give more information and details.

How slow - be specific.

Have you tried with FTP or something else?

Upgraded firmware/drivers?

dear John,

All the drivers, bios and flashes are up to date, while i'm downloading or uploadinf files there is no issue, only when the client access the network shared folder and trying to save file over there, its slow
we have only tree users in our network(very small)

If the big CAD files work fine over another protocol I do not think you are having a hardware issue.

Seems more likely that something is not so good in your file share configuration or perhaps NIC configuration.

What OS are you running?

I am having the same issue with my server. Same model - Windows 2008 Server SP2.

Even small files - the server just gets slower, and slower and eventually stops responding.

You can browse the files - you cannot open them.

Hi,

Issues such as this are more often something like DNS than server performance.

I would recommend running a tool such as HDTach to determine local performance and going from there.
