HP DLT VS80

Hi
I have the same problem as Henrik but I'm able to use only new DLT tapes. Anything that was previously written to rejects after a minute. My tape drive is attached to a server DL580G3. Does this mean I need to download a driveras well? It's a new install. Thanks for any input.

Joe,

DLTVS80 will eject tapes if it was used by another drive difft from VS80. DLT 80/70/40 drives format tapes differently and a VS80 will reject these tapes.
