HP StorageWorks 1/8 Autoloader get into offline status
I have HP StorageWorks 1/8 Autoloader connected to ProLiant DL with Windows 2003 Storage Server 32bit I'm using Symantec Exec 11d Backup the autoloader connected to a separated SCSI adapter
My problem is that the backup works for days and stops for week
I mean that suddenly my backup software (Symantec Exec 11d Backup) tells me that the media is offline
once I tried to change the SCSI ID I managed to let the backup start but in the mid of the job the Symantec told me that my media is offline I also tried to uninstall then reinstall the Symantec Exec 11d Backup it worked for 4 days then stopped again
Could any one help please?
Thanks in advance

Re: HP StorageWorks 1/8 Autoloader get into offline status
the next time when it failed, use the HP Library and Tape Tool to test the drive if it's working fine. You can get the tool from here :
