HP StorageWorks Ultrium 215

Dear Support Team,
I am using the above mentioned backup unit for our File server. It has been working finely until shortly, when a got on BrightStor ARCserve Run-Time Message Screen the following; Backup Status: Unkonow

I tried with cleaning tape, restarted the Unit and the File server. But the Problem persists.
Any hints out there?

hi,

Is that a stand alone drive or a part of a library. In both the cases can you run a LTO test on that drive using library and tape tools and post the logs out here..

make sure of the connecion
what kind of backup software are using, if you can try to use ntbackup and send the log
