HP Surestore 2/20 SNMP
Hi
Can anyone advise me if the HP Surestore 2/20 library support SNMP to capture errors so that they can be picked up by our alerting system.
I have looked around and found the following link for plug-in for unix:-
Surestore 2/20 10/100 library for unix
http://www.hp.com/cgi-bin/cposupport/swdl.pl?c=co291&i=co291en
But I cannot logon to it.
Anyone have any information on how to do this please.
kind Regards
Debbie

Re: HP Surestore 2/20 SNMP
Moving your query to a tape hardware queue, hopefully a better choice... Good Luck.
Omniback and NT problems? double check name resolution, DNS/HOSTS...

Re: HP Surestore 2/20 SNMP
There used to be several plug in's for various packages. I can't seem to find that page anymore though. Here is a link to a plug in for Network Node Manager HP-UX that support the library Tape Alert which will notify you of hardware errors. It doesn't specifically mention SNMP but I believe that is the method the libraries use to report Tape Alert to NNM.
